Role Purpose

  • Manage all aspects of station performance include OTP, guest experience, service provider performance, regulation compliance;
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures for Ramp Services, Baggage Services, Weight and Balance, Passenger and Cargo Handling in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of HKE;
  • Identify hazard and risk, prepare risk assessment and, if being assigned as Risk Owner, has the authority and responsibility to make decisions regarding risk tolerability with respect to ground operations (Ramp Services, Weight and Balance, Passenger) relevant to safety and/or security;
  • Provide monthly operational data analysis to management for station performance review, evaluate, improve and enhance its standard and quality;
  • Assist the manager in consolidating the Ground Operations station performance and Quality Control Program data associated with Ground Operations station performance system;
  • Monitor service provider performance and carry out on-site performance inspections;
  • Manage, coordinate and handle irregular flight and affected passenger when required;
  • Take a lead role in implementing changes and continuous improvement on operations efficiency and customer satisfaction;
  • Work as a safety and security representative, to coordinate and follow up on Ground Operational safety / security matters and incidents.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Tertiary or above;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation, including 1 year in ground handling;
  • Able to lead and provide solutions of ground operations;
  • Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
  • Good communication skills and team player;
  • Excellent customer service mind-set;
  • Work on shift duty and perform duty travel as situation required;
  • Strong in making decision, communication, problem solving and execution;
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
