Role and Responsibilities

Main Purpose of The Job

Short term crew resource planning and deployment including but not limited to monthly roster publication, associated records and statistics.

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Perform crew roster planning in accordance with the HKCAD Approved Flight Time Limitation Scheme and company guidelines;
  • Issue the monthly crew roster on the date as approved by local regulatory authority;
  • Ensure flight parings / roster patterns are formed in an economical manner;
  • Coordinate with respective Crew Management Departments for the need of short term crew requirement/movement. E.g Training/HQ rostering;
  • Coach junior Crew Rostering staff;
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors; E.g. Briefing to new crew members; Support superiors in annual budgeting exercises;
  • Responsible for complying with the company Safety Policy and other associated policies applicable to the position;
  • Responsible for reporting hazards and events concerning safety and security through company’s safety reporting system;
  • Responsible for participating in and/or completing the safety, security or quality related training as assigned by the company, within the specified timeframe;
  • Participate in specific working group as assigned by superiors;
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or above, in any discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in roster assignment / reassignment and airline operations;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. And knowledge of Putonghua is preferred but not essential;
  • Proficiency in electronic crew operations system;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential.
