Role and Responsibilities
- Sourcing aircraft materials for AOG, potential AOG or critical situation regionally or globally in support of maintenance requirements;
- Raise loan, purchase, and exchange orders with suppliers to support AOG recovery operations;
- Liaise with pool providers, OEMs, operators, and freight forwarders to ensure that materials arrive at the designated location on time.;
- Co-ordinate with stores and receiving team for immediate processing of AOG parts;
- Follow up with all relevant parties to ensure that the parts are ready for use and to minimize any impact on operations;
- Act as the primary point of contact with other airline operators for loan-in and loan-out exchanges to support AOG situations, subject to prior management approval before releasing any loaned parts.
- Establish effective communication with service providers and internal parties;
- Ensure prompt action is initiated to resolve material related issue during AOG occurs;
- Arrange and coordinate logistics for AOG and other critical material requests.
- Handle other ad-hoc projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or above in Engineering, Aerospace, Logistics and Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of related working experience in airlines, MROs, OEMs or suppliers;
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer;
- Familiar with inventory management, procurement or AOG support;
- Proficiency in MS Office, good data management and analytical skills;
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills;
- Analytical mind and stress-resistant;
- Willingness to work in variable shift duty;
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese.
