Job Summary

This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal operations of a leading airline. The intern will work closely with the in-house legal team, supporting a variety of legal functions including contract review, legal research, compliance, and litigation support. The role is designed to provide practical exposure to corporate legal affairs within the aviation industry.

Role Purpose

  • Assist in reviewing and drafting contracts and legal documents relevant to airline operations.
  • Conduct legal research on regulatory, corporate, and aviation law matters.
  • Help manage and organize legal files and documentation.
  • Attend meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
  • Assist with factual research and preparation of legal memoranda and summaries.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by the General Counsel or legal staff.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Current law student or interested in legal profession.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Interest in the airline industry and corporate legal practice is a plus.
