Role Purpose

IT Strategic Direction and Standards

  • Lead strategies and visions to drive IT effectiveness within the Company;
  • Accountable for both designing and deploying a clear IT strategy and roadmap for the Company;
  • Understand business requirements, identify and formulate cost-effective solutions to address business needs, ensure solutions are fit for purpose and future-proof;
  • Lead the team to provide technology consultation, demand management, business case development, business analysis, business architecture, data integration and portfolio management services;
  • Lead the team to plan, direct and manage the exploitation of current installed technology and capability;
  • Oversee the end-to-end solution delivery and subsequent support of solutions;
  • Work with the business units to assign application and data ownership to improve the flow of data across the organization;
  • Drive effective partnership with stakeholders to achieve the desired business outcomes.

Digital Strategy and Insights

  • Lead a digital team to establish a digital centre of excellence in the Company and drive digital-first transformation initiatives and insights into the business;
  • Create data-driven discovery strategy and build related processes;
  • Develop data strategy of the Company and ensure data security, governance compliance and operational excellence;
  • Lead the strategic direction of customer experience and operational excellence in digital channels;
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify key customer-centric, digital-first transformation opportunities across all aspects of the business, accommodating the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Derive strategic directions to drive changes & business growth in a digitally enabled era based on data and insights.

IT Security & Continuity

  • Lead a team to ensure the operational reliability and performance of all IT solutions;
  • Accountable for cybersecurity compliance of Company policies and regulatory requirements;
  • Manage the risks and impacts of cybersecurity exceptions and threats;
  • Prepare the organization for cybersecurity incidents with proper and structured response plan;
  • Keep abreast of the latest technological development in cybersecurity and maintain network of market intelligence with the industry.

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead, engage and motivate a multidisciplinary team of specialists and effectively manage resources to ensure the delivery of the digital transformation program, initiatives and IT solutions;
  • Articulate the strategic directions of IT and Digital Transformation, translate into operational goals and inspire the team to achieve;
  • Drive an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture within the team to build a cohesive and empowered organization.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Accountable for the overall departmental budget and project planning
  • Accountable for the overall performance of technology vendor and the budgetary controls on the company’s technology solution delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related discipline;
  • Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years in leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge in IT application, solution consulting, security and project implementation;
  • Strong leadership and vision to create and sustain a culture of collaboration, efficiency, reliability and entrepreneurial spirit within the team;
  • Certified PM (PMP) is preferred;
  • A proven track record in delivering technology change and transformation;
  • In-depth experience in devising, costing and delivering solutions to meet internal business and customer needs;
  • Experience in developing and implementing architecture within a fast-paced organization to meet complex programs with multiple stakeholders;
  • Ability to strategize the technology roadmap with ongoing innovation and use of new technologies;
  • Strong business acumen with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and engagement skills, ability to motivate and lead a diverse and digital savy teams;
  • Good command in English and Chinese;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
