Responsibilities: 

Operations Planning

• Optimise fleet assignment for maximum commercial returns.
• Propose gauge changes to accommodate aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, airport coordinators and external partners to secure the necessary approvals, slots and ground support.
• Lead bi-weekly meeting with stakeholders from operational departments.

Network & Schedule Planning

• Perform analysis on potential new routes and build business cases for incentive negotiations.
• Perform analysis on frequency and/or schedule adjustments based on market demand.
• Propose seasonal block time adjustments based on historic OTP performance.
• Forecast HKIA noise quota usage based on analysis of historic performance.
• Other ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Distribution & Systems Management

• Distribute schedule information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain schedule inventory in the reservation system, and to coordinate with relevant stakeholders for schedule changes, flight cancellations and passenger protection plans.
• Maintain schedule plan in the operation system, and to coordinate with rostering team for timely updates.
• Maintain schedule plan in other online platforms and portals to ensure external parties are kept up to date (cargo, GDS, codeshare, online flight approval platforms);
• Perform system tests and design automated reports as and when required.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical field;
• At least 3 years of total working experience, with at least 2 years in aviation.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent PC skills, in particular MS Excel.
