Role Purpose

  • Support the Manager in the sourcing of ground handling services suppliers;
  • Review airport, security and ground services contracts to ensure necessary service requirements are in place and T&Cs are in compliance with the Procurement Policy;
  • Assist in supplier pre-assessment in accordance with the requirement of Ground Services;
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value for the company;
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on contract approval;
  • Plan for new station services startup, ensuring necessary ground services are well covered;
  • Identify hazard and risk, prepare risk assessment and seek endorsement from management on decision that would impact operational security and safety risk;
  • Participate in the preparation of the ground handling cost budget;
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required;
  • Overseas travel is required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University graduate;
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a relevant role;
  • Good understanding on airport and/or ground operations is preferable;
  • Knowledge of IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement is an advantage;
  • Good negotiation, communication and analytical skills with proven track record in performing market analysis and cost evaluation;
  • Sensitive to numbers and attentive to details;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin;
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
