Role and Responsibilities
- Execute Hong Kong strategies set by Manager to achieve departmental goals, ensure the achievable targets are met and improvement initiatives where required;
- Lead the Line Maintenance roster team to accomplish both planned and unscheduled maintenance tasks, making high‑quality decisions to ensure tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively;
- Monitor suppliers’ product quality and their performance meet the regulatory standards and agreed service level;
- Drive and ensure that best practices are adopted within the team;
- Provide technical and recurrent training programs for subordinates and suppliers to meet operational and regulatory requirements;
- Perform riding and / or outstation support duties;
- Assist the Manager in preparing rosters and deputize the duties when required;
- Perform and carry out other duties and projects as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications
- Degree or above qualification in aircraft engineering or a qualification that demonstrates professional experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, including A320 series aircraft maintenance certification experience;
- Possess valid HKCAD license or ICAO type 2 license (e.g. CCAR, FAA, EASA, JCAB, KCAB, etc.);
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties;
- Strong safety mindset in respect of people, aircraft and equipment safety;
- Ability to set goals in respect of maintenance performance and safety;
- Work well under pressure with and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
