Overview
As a Specialist, Business Insights, you will collaborate closely with various teams within Commercial department to support their data needs. Your core responsibility is to transform commercial and customer data into actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance commercial performance. You will design, develop, and manage dashboards and reports, ensuring that data is presented clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner to empower informed decision-making across the organization.
Role Purpose
Dashboard Creation and Reporting
- Develop and manage performance dashboards for the Commercial team, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
- Build tailored visualizations that enhance data interpretation and supports decision-making and performance accountability.
- Develop reports and presentations that are concise, easy to understand, and effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Market Research, Competitive Analysis and Customer Insights
- Analyse historical data to support decision making and assist to form recommendation on revenue and pricing strategy. Propose and evaluate actions to improve commercial performance.
- Conduct market landscape research including competitive analysis, desktop research and benchmarking exercises.
- Support to conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.
Database Management and Maintenance
- Work closely with Data Analytics team and support the formulation of data structure.
- Support data extraction and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Propose improvements to database functionality, such as automation, data integration, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
Data Analysis and Insights Generation
- Analyse data from direct channels and other data sources to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Identify anomalies, and flag potential areas of concern. Prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Utilize Customer Experience Analytics and Digital Analytics tools to analyse digital experience, track user sessions, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities.
- Implement data-driven improvements: Collaborate with the Digital Experience team to implement or test changes based on insights from aiming to improve website and app performance and drive conversion.
- Analyze data from journey experience surveys and brand health trackers to identify key trends and issues, enabling timely actions and guiding long-term improvements through regular reporting.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience in quantitative/data analysis and handling large datasets ideally. And strong attention to details and accuracy
- Demonstrate aptitude for logical analysis, analytical mind, problem identification, and problem solving.
- Adaptable, quick learner, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator and presenter, with stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in project management, able to prioritize and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau) and programming (SQL, Python, Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Good command of Chinese and English, Cantonese is a valued addition.

- 提出数据库功能改进建议,如自动化、数据集成和增强报告能力
数据分析与洞察报告撰写
- 分析来自直接渠道及其他数据源的数据,识别模式、趋势与机会,标注异常并提出改进建议
- 借助客户体验分析和数字分析工具,分析体验、数字足迹、识别痛点并挖掘机会
- 与数字体验(客户体验)团队合作,基于洞察执行或测试改动,以提升网站和应用性能并推动转化。
- 分析客户旅程体验、品牌健康度评估等数据,识别关键趋势,定期汇报并推动持续优化及长期改进
任职资格
- 数学、统计学、计算机科学、工商管理、经济学、金融、会计或其他定量学科
- 较强的分析与数值能力,具备定量数据分析与处理大规模数据集的经验
- 具备逻辑分析、分析思维、问题识别与解决能力
- 适应性强、学习能力强,能在快节奏环境中独立工作并与团队协作
- 有效沟通与演示能力,具备利益相关者管理及人际交往技巧
- 项目管理能力,能在压力和紧迫的时限内优先排序并交付结果
- 有数据可视化工具经验(Looker Studio、Tableau)以及编程能力(SQL、Python、Google Cloud)者优先
- 中英文良好,粤语者为加分项
