Role Purpose
Network Planning
- Perform P&L analysis on potential new routes and build business cases for incentive negotiations
- Perform P&L analysis on frequency, schedule and aircraft type adjustments based on market demand
Operation Planning
- Perform P&L analysis on potential new routes and build business cases for incentive negotiations. Optimise aircraft deployment to balance between maximising commercial return and accommodating maintenance tasks
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, airport coordinators and external partners to secure the necessary approvals, slots and ground support
- Lead bi-weekly meetings with stakeholders from operation departments
Schedule Planning
- Propose seasonal block time adjustments based on historic on-time performance
- Forecast HKIA noise quota usage based on analysis of historic usage rate
- Manage UO’s slot portfolio in both HKG and outstation
Distribution & Systems Management
- Distribute schedule information to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain schedule inventory in the reservation system, and to coordinate with relevant stakeholders for schedule changes and passenger protection plans
- Maintain schedule plan in the operation system, and to coordinate with crew rostering team for timely updates
- Maintain schedule plan in other online platforms and portals to ensure external parties are kept up to date (cargo, GDS, codeshare, online flight approval platforms)
- Perform system tests and design automated reports as and when required
The Ideal Candidate
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical field
- At least 3 years of total working experience, with at least 2 years in the travel industry
- Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus
- Excellent PC skills, in particular MS Excel. Proficiency in SQL is a plus
