Role purpose and main responsibilities

  • Crew resources planning, rostering data analysis and enhancement initiatives;
  • Plan and project crew utilization in accordance with the HKCAD Approved Flight Time Limitation Scheme and company guidelines;
  • Assist the Assistant Manager in the annual cockpit crew manpower projection and simulator slots requirement;
  • Coordinate with the Training Department for the yearly Command/LTC/LCC/TRI/TRE upgrade requirements, including any special training needed for the launch of new destinations;
  • Plan the monthly cockpit crew training roster in alignment with the latest training requirements to support the manpower budget plan;
  • Conduct regular crew rostering data analysis to maximize crew utilization. Identify system enhancement needs and develop in-house resource planning and execution tools to facilitate efficient rostering and crew control processes;
  • Support the current Rostering System by liaising with internal project owners, stakeholders, and system vendor to address any operational disruptions;
  • Represent the Rostering team to provide input on future system upgrades, if applicable;
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University degree holder or equivalent, with training or working experience in data analysis or system support;
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in aviation operations department. Experience in roster assignment/re-assignment will be an added advantage;
  • Good commend of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is preferred but not essential;
  • Proficiency in computer coding with SQL, Python and VBA;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential.
