Role Purpose
Assistant Planning Engineer works in the Planning – Maintenance Requirement team. The role focuses on the aircraft entry into service (EIS) activities related to planned maintenance of new and 2nd hand aircraft.
- Manage aircraft entry into service (EIS) activities related to planned maintenance of new and 2nd hand aircraft and ensure compliance to all applicable maintenance requirements
- Prepare and import major assemblies configuration data and aircraft configuration data based on the aircraft delivery/ re-delivery documentations to the maintenance information system
- Validate and import applicable maintenance records to project next scheduled maintenance forecast to maintenance information system
- Review hard time component certifications and shop maintenance records. Perform additional BTB review for life limited parts that comes with the aircraft
- Liaise with Technical Service team for the modifications embodied and AD status at transfer, then assign applicability of engineering orders with accurate engineering order forecast
- Liaise with EIS Project team to rectify issue that appears
- Identify and consolidate differences in maintenance requirements and needs, then liaise with Planning Ops team for the arrangement of delivery check, pre-service check and bridging check if needed
- Report regularly
- Assist in other maintenance requirements activities for in-service aircraft, e.g. maintenance program and engineering order implementation
- Assist in Configuration functions, e.g. part basic management, fleet configuration management
- Carry out other duties as assigned
- Provide support during weekends or non-office hours when required
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3-year of experiences in Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance including 2-year of experiences in Engineering Planning, Production Planning & Control (PPC) or Maintenance Control Planning(MCP)
- Degree Holder of Engineering or equivalent
