Role Purpose
The Manager, Risk and Regulatory Compliance (MRRC) is responsible for implementing the corporate risk management framework and processes, and driving improvement to the effectiveness of them. This position is also responsible for enhancing the oversight effectiveness of operational regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement the Corporate Risk Management Framework, and drive development and improvement on the management processes and awareness
  • Collaborate with First Line functions to identify and evaluate risks via risk assessments and workshops; and advise on the development of risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintain the corporate risk registry and monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation plans
  • Produce an aggregate view of risks and the corporate’s risk profile, and prepare reports for board meetings, risk committee meetings etc. Act as the Secretary of HKE’s Risk Management Committee (RMC)
  • Liaise with the Group to ensure the alignment of risk management methodology, standards and tools
  • Develop, implement and manage processes to ensure HKE complies with civil aviation regulatory requirements in the regions of operations
  • Analyse, evaluate and provide recommendations to operational departments with regards to proposed changes to the regulatory requirements including but not limited to HKCAD360 / ICAO Annex 6 / FAA regulations
  • Act as the Data Steward of the SRM department, conduct Privacy Impact Assessments, govern the internal data usage and coordinate the monitoring of third parties regularly to ensure the handling of personal data is in line with the data handling manuals and guidelines
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of the CORSIA report to HKCAD annually

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline;
  • Risk Management Accreditation is highly desirable;
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience;
  • Previous experience in risk management / an airline / aviation / aerospace will be an advantage;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge in Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is an added advantage
