Responsibilities

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Manager, Commercial to lead the commercial team in Philippines for HK Express. The role requires the successful candidate to lead the planning, development and execution of commercial initiatives in Point-of-Sale Philippines, in order to achieve the revenue budget for POS Philippines. The Manager, Commercial in Philippines will work closely with the various Commercial functional teams in Head Office to oversee brand positioning, sales campaign execution, digital marketing performance and market growth strategies. It is desirable for the candidate to have the ability to work across functionalities to deliver impactful commercial campaigns that enhance customer engagement, retention and growth.

Strategic Commercial Planning

  • Develop and implement market-specific sales and marketing strategies that align with HK Express overall business targets.
  • Transform commercial goals into actionable commercial initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Head office to ensure commercial initiatives are aligned with business priorities.

Brand Management

  • Strengthen HK Express’ brand equity in the local market by ensuring consistent brand positioning across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Localize brand campaigns and messaging to resonate with local consumers, while upholding the global brand equity.
  • Manage strategic partnership and sponsorship that enhance HK Express’ visibility.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels (social media, search engines, display ads, influencer marketing, CRM),
  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to optimize conversion rates, ROI and customer lifetime value.

Market Intelligence & Data Analytics

  • Conduct thorough market research and competition analysis to identify growth opportunities and consumer trend.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future marketing strategies.

Sales strategy and execution

  • Collaborate with Head Office Sales and Distribution team to implement effective sales campaigns and channel management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with travel trade, tourism board and key accounts in local market.
  • Prepare regular sales forecast.

Campaign & Project Management

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for local market, within budget and timeline KPI.
  • Coordinate with regional creative and content teams to produce engaging storytelling and localized campaign material.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field required;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial function, preferably in aviation or tourism industries;
  • Proven track record in driving commercial initiatives and deliver sales revenue budget.
  • Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities in performance metrics, ROI tracking and data driven decision making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment;
  • Excellent communication skills; proficient in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
