Role Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team at HK Express, a leading low-cost carrier in Hong Kong. This role will focus on performance marketing to maximize ROI through various advertising formats while also leading partnership marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing
- Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to optimize budget spend across multiple channels (SEO, SEM, programmatic display, and social media platforms) and drive qualified traffic from both inbound and outbound travelers to the company website and app.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly to drive ROI.
Collaborate with the analytics team to track customer journey and conversion rates, ensuring continuous improvement in marketing tactics.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently across various advertising formats.
Partnership Marketing
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant brands and travel business (such as tourism board, Asia Miles, airports, resorts and ground transportation) partners to create co-marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Lead the execution of partnership marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand positioning.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, making recommendations for optimization and future collaborations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate partnership campaigns into broader marketing strategies.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with the Senior Manager of Marketing to align marketing strategies with business goals and commercial objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement for senior management.
- Create creative briefs to designers or agencies with clear direction and concise insights, including copywriting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to inform strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on performance marketing and partnership marketing, preferably in the travel or airline industry.
- Proven track record of driving ROI through effective marketing campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, DV360, Bing, Yahoo JP, Naver, Baidu, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Meta.
- Experience in leading through-the-line marketing campaigns, including ATL, OOH, Digital, and Social.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and passion for innovation in marketing.
