Reporting line:  Manager, System Analysis

Role Purpose

• Develop and maintain applications web site and mobile device.
• Develop data transformation (ETL and ELT) scripting.
• Implement serverless functions/microservice (e.g. Cloud Run Functions/Lambda function).
• Assist team lead to collect user requirement. Analyse the impact analysis and justify effort estimation on change requests.
• Perform Unit Testing, support UAT, and production deployment.
• Update technical documentation.
• Work with Team Lead to drive and deliver PoC stuff to evaluate new design pattern.
• Support ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and IT Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in frontend application development. Backend and/or ETL development is a plus.
• Proficient in Java and NextJS. C# programming is a plus.
• Experience in python programming and API end point implementation with FastAPI.
• SQL programming experience is required. Preferred in MySQL, GCP Cloud SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Solid object-oriented programming skill and knowledge of software development lifecycle. Cloud programming is a plus.
• Utilize CD/CI tools (Github, Dockers, Maven, etc) and familiarize deployment workflow.
• A strong mindset of data security and data privacy.
• A Team player with good problem-solving skill and establish an effective communication to team members.
• Written and Spoken English skill is a must.
• Passion of self-improvement, a good appetite for learning.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Officer, Software Engineer.
