Responsibilities: 

• Act as a data steward for the company consolidated database;
• Serve as a key contributor to data modelling infrastructure within company consolidated database;
• Ensure and maintain data quality of the company consolidated database;
• Design and develop scalable and efficient data models and pipelines to transform data from multiple data sources for analytics and data processing;
• Integrate new data sources into the company's data ecosystem and transform raw data into a format usable by downstream users;
• Enforce good governance on data management and ensure regulatory compliance;
• Monitor internal data usage and third-party access regularly to ensure the handling of personal data (not limited to access, transfer and retention of data) is in line with the data handling manuals and guidelines;
• Maintain thorough documentation of data flow or data analysis processes;
• Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for leveraging corporate data and drive data-driven solutions to meet business objectives;
• Support ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred;
• Hand-on experience in SQL, python and containerization is required;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data integration, ETL processes, data cleaning, quality checking, data desensitization and data analytics;
• Hand-on experience in building data pipelines and data modelling, database administration;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform, is preferred;
• Experience in Linux is preferred;
• Experience in data visualization tool(s), such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, is a plus;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial.
