Role Purpose

  • Implement crew communication and engagement strategies for effective two-way communications and a harmonious relationship between the management and the cabin crew community.
  • Gather, monitor and analyse cabin crew’s feedback and sentiments from various channels to improve communication and engagement strategies.
  • Assist in managing the cabin crew communication channels, such as the intranet and newsletter.
  • Explore digital communication channels to enhance communication with cabin crew.
  • Assist in developing engagement programmes and initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work culture among the cabin crew.
  • Assist in managing the cabin crew talent pool to support internal and marketing events.
  • Plan and organise cabin crew functions and activities.
  • Supervise cabin crew events and marketing projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that communication and engagement strategies are aligned with the overall organisational goals.
  • Provide support services to the Inflight Services management team and cabin crew.
  • Perform management flying duties, or conduct observation flights as required.
  • Seek advice from their supervisor to make decisions significantly affecting the operational security and/or decision regarding safety risk tolerability, if they are not authorised to make such decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in the aviation industry, preferably with 2 years of flying experience as cabin crew.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Good academic qualifications and sound judgment.
  • Experience in producing and publishing newsletters would be an advantage.
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, etc. The ability to create infographics and edit short video clips with simple tools such as Canva is preferred.
  • Sound understanding of both the cabin crew’s and management team’s perspectives.
  • Eagerness to achieve higher through collaboration and building meaningful connections.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
