Role Purpose

• Responsible for the emergency cabin procedures;
• To coordinate on-board safety for a designated flight, including communicating safety information to crew, over crew safety practices, and act for safety liaison with cockpit crew and ground personnel;
• To ensure cabin operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and HKE standards;
• To provide leadership, direction, and assistance to crew members during flight;
• To support problem resolution throughout, including gathering and weighing information before making a decision; ensuring problem resolution is safety and security focused; handling unusual situations with the safety and customer in mind; responding in a timely and personal manner to on-board issues while minimizing flight and service disruptions;
• To conduct and ensure that all required paperwork and documentation is distributed and/ or completed for a designated flight;
• To maintain and update knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, and objectives, and communicate applicable information to crew members whenever possible;
• To assign crew position and responsibilities;
• To monitor cabin crew in-flight performance;
• To interact effectively throughout a designated flight, including establishing good working relationships with passengers, crew, and other operational departments; display sensitivity to the needs of individuals from diverse cultures and resolve passengers and crew conflicts whenever possible.

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be a cabin crew who has at least 5 years of in-flight supervisory experience with any international airlines;
• Candidates’ flying hours and past performance records will be also considered besides the prerequisite years of experience;
• Hong Kong Permanent Resident status;
• Minimum age of 18;
• Able to provide COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate;
• Minimum arm-reach of 208cm and to pass the pre-employment medical assessment;
• Minimum of Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects or minimum Level 2 in 5 HKDSE NSS subjects, including English and Chinese or equivalent;
• Possess excellent leadership skills to lead cabin crew throughout a designated flight;
• Good command of spoken and written English; Ability to speak foreign languages, such as Japanese or Korean would be an advantage.
