Role Purpose

Lead HK Express’ outport commercial strategy and execution across priority overseas markets, driving sales and marketing performance to deliver revenue target and brand visibility. The role combines leadership of B2B/B2C sales channels with oversight of outport sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate brand strategy, revenue targets and policy/compliance requirements. The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and manages a multi‑country team.

  • Define and execute the outport sales and marketing strategy aligned to Commercial and Brand priorities; execute commercial plans in outport countries to achieve revenue budget and business targets
  • Collaborate with head office Sales and Communications team and coach a multi-country team to deliver business targets
  • Instill strong organizational discipline, OKR alignment and policy adherence across overseas markets
  • Collaborate with head office communications team to localise outport marketing campaigns (digital, social, PR/activation and trade co op) to stimulate demand and support revenue targets
  • Partner with Marketing team to localize brand messaging and ensure consistency with UO brand guidelines; measure campaign ROI and optimize spend
  • Lead trade shows, familiarization trips, joint promotions and sales campaigns to strengthen brand presence and conversion
  • Track marketing KPIs (traffic, conversion, CAC, revenue per dollar spent, brand lift) and course correct quickly
  • Build a robust market insights cadence; monitor competitor moves, regulatory changes and pricing dynamics; translate insights into actionable sales and marketing plans
  • Prepare monthly segment strategies and executive performance reports with clear ROI and risk/mitigation
  • Work closely with Revenue Management team to maximize outport Point of Sale revenue and improve yield across various sales channels and marketing campaigns
  • Regular Duty travel is required for this position

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial experience in airline industry with combined sales and marketing leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years leading multi country teams
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin/Korean/Japanese) are an added advantage
