Role Purpose

People Services team is part of the UO People team that provides quality services and support contributing to the positive people experience for all our employees that include work efficiency, well-being and safety working within the UO premises.

  • Oversee the Facilities Management of all UO office premises at Cathay House and the HKIA, include but not limited to office equipment maintenance, office cleaning, safety and security;
  • Ensure the facilities, safety and security system are well-maintained as well as conducting proactive maintenance;
  • Monitor space management such as office space, conference rooms, pantry and other common area;
  • Ensure the facilities are in compliance with government and corporate regulations as well as safety, environmental, health, hygiene and security standards;
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s health and safety policies, procedures and initiatives;
  • As backup for office administrative duties;
  • Perform ad-hoc support to the People team as assigned, include but not limited to renovation of refurbishments, Town Hall meetings, company activities and events, etc.

The Ideal Candidate

  • High Diploma or above in Business, HR, Property/ Facility Management or relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in general office administration, HR support and facilities management a definite plus, candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Supervisor;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good command of both written and verbal English and Chinese skills;
  • A good team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to work independently with strong sense of accountability Highly organized with attention to detail Open to changes to improve efficiency.

Please note that with effect from 1 June 2022 onwards, all HK Express employees and contractors who work in Cathay House and all other Cathay Group Company premises in Hong Kong must have received a third dose of COVID 19 vaccine. Being tested regularly for COVID-19 is not an option. Consideration will be given to those who are unable to get vaccinated for valid medical reasons.
