Role Purpose
- Develop and maintain policy, procedure, and training material related to ramp operations to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, IATA, and HKE requirements.
- Follow up on changes or new initiatives of regulatory or HKE requirements and evaluate potential impact on existing operating procedures, prepare notice to distribute operational information.
- Monitor industrial trends, including new policies and procedures, regulations, and service levels, and identify best practices that aim to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage e-Learning platform, including training material uploading and assignment of system access. Manage and ensure proper retention of training records.
- Assist in station launch preparations, including organizing meetings with new station service providers and onsite inspections.
- Identify hazards and risks, prepare a risk assessment, and seek advice from a superior to make a decision significantly affecting the operational security and/or decision regarding safety risk tolerability.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary graduate with at least 2 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
- Solid knowledge in ramp operations training, policies, and procedures, while working experience in an airline’s head office would be an advantage.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office.
