Role Purpose

The Specialist, Commercial Operation, is responsible for managing and optimizing the catering and inflight retail programs for the airline. This includes developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Manage vendor relationships for catering and inflight duty-free products and services.
• Analyse market trends and customer behaviour to identify new revenue opportunities
• Work closely with other departments, such as Ground Service and Inflight Service, to ensure the successful implementation of ancillary revenue initiatives.
• Conduct regular analysis and reporting of catering and inflight duty-free revenue performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage the pricing and inventory of catering and inflight duty-free products and services
• Ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, catering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering management or hospitality industry
• Knowledge of the airline industry and catering and inflight duty-free revenue streams
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing third-party vendor relationships
• Proficient in office tools, such as Microsoft Office
