Role and Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic initiatives to deliver HKE’s RASK and revenue targets, and identify key areas for future revenue growth;
  • Develop and implement low cost carrier pricing structure;
  • Identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions to generate incremental traffic;
  • Maximise revenue per flight and deliver on company price promise versus the competition;
  • Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy versus the competition;
  • Assimilate all the information from past and current market price performance to predict future trends;
  • Maximise revenue and load-factors on assigned parts of the airline network;
  • Maintain routes in line with performance and budget expectations through the careful management of the fare-class system and provide input and careful inventory management on seat sales;
  • Maintain a fare-code structure and assist in loading of schedules and capacity in accordance with commercially agreed policy;
  • Execute different Revenue Management strategies appropriate to different distribution channels and compilation tariffs for all e-commerce channels;
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date display of tariffs in CRS/GDS systems, ARINC, ATPCO etc.;
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of HKE’s competitive position, distribution landscape, and industry and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years in Pricing and Revenue Management field; minimum 5 years of Commercial Airlines experience;
  • Strong commercial acumen, preferably in the Asian context;
  • Exposure to LCC decision-making at the strategic level;
  • Experience in the areas of revenue management and ancillary revenue;
  • Exposure to the areas of analytics, artificial intelligence, marketing, eCommerce and digital technologies.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills;
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and across all functions;
  • Ability to manage and deliver complex implementation projects.
